From 8 October, Eroski customers won’t be able to miss the GGN label found on aquaculture products instore and online, thanks to a new advertising campaign.
Increased awareness can increase demand
Eroski’s advertising campaign features a video, an article, and a banner and many other materials, all with prominent GGN label logos. The company’s aquaculture products, sold under its own brand EROSKI Natur, are sourced from GLOBALG.A.P. certified farms * and carry the GGN label logo. The number of GGN labeled aquaculture products available in Eroski stores has been steadily rising over the years, along with the demand.
Making responsibly farmed products easy to find
By promoting the GGN label, Eroski draws attention to its own brand claims, as well as giving consumers a responsible choice on their shelves. Many consumers are aware of the climate problems, animal welfare issues, and important questions about social responsibility for workers and food safety faced by the production processes in the food industry. Therefore, they are making more and more of their purchase decisions based on such factors. Adding the GGN label logo to productsfrom certified farms * is one way to make purchase choices easier for consumers in supermarkets.
Why not start your own GGN campaign?

About the GGN label
The GGN label is a consumer label which stands for certified, responsible farming and transparency. With the GLOBALG.A.P. Number (GGN) printed on the product packaging, consumers can find out exactly where the product came from and how it was produced.
The website also explains what good aquaculture practices are and how the certified farms
* implement them. This direct line between the consumer and the original producer forms
the basis of a chain of trust in food production.
34 species from 34 countries are sourced in ways compliant with the GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated
Farm Assurance standard for Aquaculture. That’s a total of more than 2 million tons of products
from certified farms
*. Learn more at
