Partnering for Sustainable Agricultural Development

Together with its partners, GLOBALG.A.P. has developed a range of tools that address challenges to inclusive, sustainable, and resilient food supply while meeting the needs of producers of any size. We strive to leverage agricultural development through raising awareness for good agricultural practices and building food safety management capacities in order to strengthen local markets and open doors to international markets through certification.

Partnerships for the Goals

We are proud to work with organizations that are driving change across various industries and countries. By building strong partnerships, we can all be empowered to connect around our shared vision to transform local food systems all over the world for the better.

Why Partner with GLOBALG.A.P.?

  • Including standards in projects provides reassurance and may leverage investments.
  • GLOBALG.A.P. is market-driven – our members set incentives for producers to adopt good agricultural practices.
  • We want to support producers in meeting the requirements of their future customers to improve market integration. We believe in two-way inclusion: bottom-up through incentives, as producers need to want to be included, and top-down by making services and tools available to empower people.
  • Our governance structure is inclusive and combines local know-how with global solutions and networks.
  • Our standards are science-based and developed in collaboration – everyone has a say.
  • We have a flexible set of solutions for different situations and market needs – from conformity assessments to third-party certification.
  • We acknowledge that others develop great solutions as well, and we recognize these solutions through benchmarking to simplify audits for producers.
  • We have a pool of trainers in our GLOBALG.A.P. Academy providing face-to-face training, webinars, e-learning, and on-the-job mentoring.
