The recent XPLORE Sustainability conference hosted by
Sedexin London was a chance for supply chain stakeholders to share insights and solutions to the
latest challenges in the sustainability landscape. It was also an excellent opportunity for
attendees to make connections and learn more about the Sedex sustainability platform.
“Bringing together all the cross-sectorial sustainability experts was a unique opportunity to
exchange experiences and knowledge that will support us in our ‘path to sustainability’,” said
GLOBALG.A.P.’s Social Compliance Expert Alexandre Garcia-Devis Flores, who attended the conference.
GLOBALG.A.P. was pleased to contribute to the conversation
at this year’s conference and demonstrate our commitment to working together with industry
stakeholders to drive sustainability in agriculture, which is a major player in the global supply
chain. On day two of the conference, Managing Director Dr Kristian Moeller joined Luis Bueno, Group
Director of Employment Equity and Social Impact at the Compass Group, in a session to discuss how
collaboration between competitors and across regions and industries benefits our common goal of
supply chain sustainability.
Key takeaway: Collaboration isn’t anti-competitive, it’s a business advantage when the outcome is sustainability.
