G.A.P. Awards 2022 – Calling All Producers

Here's your opportunity to showcase your achievements and gain industry recognition for your efforts to implement good agricultural practices on your farm. This year's G.A.P. Awards – cordially sponsored by CropLife – will focus on the following four categories:

  1. Women in Agriculture
  2. Agricultural Impact: Monitoring and Evaluation – Water, Biodiversity, etc.
  3. Smallholders/Capacity Building – The localg.a.p. Brand/Primary Farm Assurance (PFA) Implementation
  4. Innovation for Sustainability

Achievements in these categories are measured using the following assessment criteria:

  • Traceability – IT/transparency usage
  • Push for partnerships/co-operations (public, private, etc.)
  • Impacts of Covid-19 and how producers have faced the global pandemic
  • Innovative practices/technologies
  • Economic aspects/created value
  • Passion and powerful story
  • Climate-friendly practices/CO2 emission reduction

Curious about what it takes to meet the jury's expectations?

  • Are you one of the first producers in your country to have implemented policies and measures in one or more of these areas?
  • Have you specifically developed innovative solutions to enhance one or more of these areas on your farm?
  • Do you feel the changes you've made on your farm in this respect have positively impacted your workers, company value, your community, and/or the environment?
  • Have you truly embraced the values of GLOBALG.A.P., not only on your own farm but in sharing your knowledge with others?

If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, then we want to hear your story! Your success must involve outstanding performance and achievements made in one or more of the above areas.

As part of our promotion campaign, we will:

  • Promote the G.A.P. Awards 2022 on our website and social media – all applicants will be featured on the GLOBALG.A.P. website as they apply
  • Report on the G.A.P. Awards 2022 through our media partners
  • Feature all applicants in our GLOBALG.A.P. community newsletter
